For decorations, I made Ted’s Believe sign and taped it to my entertainment center. To make it, I just taped two pieces of copier paper together. First, I painted BELIEVE in blue paint, and then I painted the background in yellow paint. It’s a simple touch that added so much to the whole experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start this Culinary Experience off, I served an English breakfast tea with cream and sugar cubes on the side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Well, usually I take it right back to the counter because someone’s made a horrible mistake.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the biscuits, I made shortbread. I precut the dough and then baked it, but if you want them to look more like the ones Ted makes, bake them in a sheet pan and cut them after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this episode, Ted tries Indian food for the first time, and it was extremly spicy! The waiter brought out a bunch of different things. Nothing was specifically named, so I suggest ordering\/serving whatever you like best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ordered garlic cheese naan, samosas, butter chicken (basic but I love it), and lamb vindaloo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll also notice that there are army men on my coffee table. After the biscuits, I brought them out because that’s when we first see them on the show. There are a lot of different cocktails and drinks in this episode. A martini is a great option to serve, for example. But I find the last scene with Keeley and Rebecca very charming, so I wanted to feature the drink around them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I served small single-serving prosecco bottles to replicate the bottles Keeley stole from the bar, and I decorated the serving tray with a pink fairy light and pink feather boa to resemble the cart they ride together while drinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This show does such an incredible job of balancing humor with touching moments. This scene is a perfect example of making me laugh with tears in my eyes… looking like a lunatic. LOL!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I served beer in frosted glasses. Leave the beer glasses in your freezer at the start of the show or overnight, and they’ll be ready when it’s time to serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted to serve the beer in glasses that match what the pub usually serves the beer in, so I used these glasses. They have a bump at the top that is an anti-slip design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Curse To Reverse!<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dani Rojas brings a bottle of Mezcal to throw into the curse fire, so I served a Flaming Mezcal Limeade for this episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are very easy to make. For the cocktail, add ice to your glass and 2 oz of Mezcal, 4 oz of Limeade<\/strong>, and lime juice from half a lime<\/strong>. Save the halved lime and hollow it out. Place the hollowed-out lime half on top of your drink and add a sugar cube to the lime half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it’s time to light the cocktail on fire, add a capful of high-proof alcohol<\/strong> (I used 110 proof rum) on top of the sugar cube and immediately light it on fire. The sugar cube will act as a wick, and the spent lime will contain the fire. The fire will burn for a few minutes depending on how much alcohol you used. When the fire is completely out, you can push the brulee lime in your drink to add a smoky-sweet taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because you are working with fire, make sure to have a fire blanket or extinguisher on hand. I’ve never had an issue, but it’s better to be safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It wouldn’t be a Ted Lasso Culinary Experience without Peanut Butter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I kept it simple with this dish and served chocolate-covered toffee and raspberry shortbread cookies with the peanut butter for dipping. I bought these sweets from Trader Joe’s because they have a great selection of fun treats like this. Whatever your grocery store has will work for this. The star of the dish is the peanut butter jar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this scene, Ted and Beard are eating at the pub, so I wanted to feature some quintessential food you’d find in an English Pub. I went with Fish & Chips and Bangers & Mash. Bangers and Mash is usually served with an onion gravy. I completely forgot to add it before serving…. I blame it on the Mezcal. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n\n\n\n
