They have the entire recipe in the caption, so you know the exact measurements.

This recipe used beef for the protein, though, so below is how I made the chicken.

Video for Smoky Jollof Rice & Fried Sweet Plantains

To make the chicken, I cleaned 6 drumsticks and seasoned them with adobo all-purpose seasoning and jollof seasoning. This slow roasting process leaves the chicken super tender. Make sure to flip your chicken about an hour into the cooking process so it cooks evenly. After those two hours, turn the heat up to 350 degrees F so it can get nice and crispy.

I will be posting a cooking video on my social media soon showing my process, so stay tuned for that, and I will link it here once posted.

Dani’s Ponche Navideño

This was my first time ever making a Mexican Ponche, and I just became a forever fan. I decided to serve a tres leches cake for this scene because it is notorious for having a soggy bottom LOL!

I bought this cake from a local Venezuelan bakery near my house, but it’s not that hard to make if you want to take the time to make it. Here is a good recipe you can follow.

Tres Leches Cake Recipe

A Ted Lasso Goodbye

As soon as I watched this scene, I knew I wanted to recreate the little army guy in the beer glass. It’s so imposing but somehow charming. Just like Ted.

To make the little army guy stick, I used double-sided tape. Stick one part to the army guy and one part to the bottom of the glass.

I recommend setting this up the day before because the tape needs time to set.

I will be posting a video on how I did this, so stay tuned on my social media.

Heads or Tails

I thought it would be fitting to end this rewatch with a dish dedicated to Dani’s full-circle moment. We started the season with him being responsible for a horrible accident (RIP Earl) that left him doubting his abilities. We end with him finally gaining his confidence back, and the camera focuses on the new puppy with a helmet on to prevent any more accidents.

I thought it would be funny to serve cake pops that look like soccer balls and helmets to symbolize this cyclical theme.

Cake Pop Recipe

Use this recipe to make the initial cake pop. I recommend making them flatter than spherical. It’s easier to decorate this way.

To make the helmet, cut a triangle out of the cake pop, kind of like how a Pac-Man looks. Then dip it.

For the soccer ball, dip it in white chocolate. When it’s hardened, add chocolate dots throughout and then use a toothpick to draw the line and connect the dots.

I will post a video on my social media to show how I did this, so stay tuned.

Ted Lasso Season 2 Season 2 For decorations, I made Ted’s Believe sign and taped it to my entertainment center.
